Fast: One Meal and TV/Streaming

“Do not be in a hurry to get out of His Presence” Ecclesiastes 8:3a AMP
Thought of the day:
Much of the time, we are in a hurry to get onto the next thing and not taking time and enjoying the present. When it comes to our time with God, we should always take our time. The NIV translation of this verse says "Do not be in a hurry to get out of the King’s presence, for he will tell you what to do and when to do it". Just think about that, the God of the universe who created you and knows the end from the beginning is able to tell you what to do and when to do it, but only if you’re not in a hurry.
Prayer:
Father, show me how to slow down. Help me realize that this is the best place for me to be. Thank You for spending this time with me. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
