“Come Close To God and He will come close to you” James 4:8 NLT
Thought of the day:
As we come a little closer to God this week, we have to make adjustments in our own schedule. We can no longer pencil Him in, but we must put His time each morning in permanent marker. This is now a standing appointment each morning. You have the opportunity to meet with the One who knows you better than you know yourself. Wouldn’t you like to know what He knows about you, how He sees you. Just Come a Little closer and He will tell you.
Prayer:
Father, help me to make room for You, not insignificant time with You, but time to talk to You and listen to You, time to look in Your word and see what You’ve said about me. Help me to see that this is the most important time of the day. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
