Fast: One Meal
Scripture:
“Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.” Isaiah 55:6 KJV
Thought of the day:
When I first read this verse, I always had in my mind, thoughts of God passing me by and that I only had a brief moment to get His attention. But, it is the total opposite. God is always attentive and available. It is us who get distracted when we lose sight of Him in the crowdedness of our day. Let’s let today be the start of our staying close to Him.
Prayer:
Father, help me seek You while I can find You. Help me call upon You while you are near. I know my day can get busy and You can slip my mind. Help me today by shifting my thoughts that start on me, to focusing my attention on You. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
