Fast: One Meal, TV/Streaming and Social Media

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words will never pass away” Luke 21:33 NIV
Thought of the day:
The things we are in a hurry to get are all going to pass away. The reason that we rush will soon be dust. But God‘s words will remain forever.
Take time to focus on His words, to listen for Him to speak to you, to tell you of the things that won’t ever pass away. If someone offered you a handful of dirt, or a valuable gold coin, which would you choose? God is offering you the most valuable thing there is, His words. So come a little closer still, and grab hold of what He wants to say to you.
Prayer:
Father, forgive me for the times I’ve rushed away from You, the times that I’ve brushed You off in order to get somewhere else. I consecrate myself today, and from now on, to put You and Your words above all else in my life. I promise to hide them in my heart, to let them dictate my life, and treasure them above all else. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
